He said, "I was only given it because of knowledge I have." Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of generations those who were greater than him in power and greater in accumulation [of wealth]? But the criminals, about their sins, will not be asked.

He said, ‘I have indeed been given [all] this because of the knowledge that I have.’ Did he not know that Allah had already destroyed before him some of the generations who were more powerful than him and greater in amassing [wealth]? The guilty will not be questioned about their sins.

He said: I have been given it only on account of knowledge I possess. Knew he not that Allah had destroyed already of the generations before him men who were mightier than him in strength and greater in respect of following? The guilty are not questioned of their sins.

He said: "This has been given to me because of a certain knowledge which I have." Did he not know that Allah had destroyed, before him, (whole) generations,- which were superior to him in strength and greater in the amount (of riches) they had collected? but the wicked are not called (immediately) to account for their sins.

He said, 'What I have been given is only because of a knowledge that is in me.' What, did he not know that God bad destroyed before him generations of men stronger than he ill might, and more numerous in multitude? And yet the sinners shall not be questioned concerning their sins.

گفت: جز این نیست که این [ثروت و مال انبوه] را بر پایه دانشی که نزد من است به من داده اند. آیا نمی دانست که خدا پیش از او اقوامی را هلاک کرده است که از او نیرومندتر و ثروت اندوزتر بودند؟ و مجرمان [که جرمشان معلوم و مشهود است] از گناهانشان بازپرسی نمی شود.

[قارون‌] گفت: «من اینها را در نتیجه دانش خود یافته‌ام.» آیا وی ندانست که خدا نسلهایی را پیش از او نابود کرد که از او نیرومندتر و مال‌اندوزتر بودند؟ و[لی این گونه‌] مجرمان را [نیازی‌] به پرسیده شدن از گناهانشان نیست.

Karun: "Bu servet ancak, bende mevcut bir ilimden ötürü bana verilmiştir" demişti. Allah'ın, önceleri, ondan daha güçlü ve topladığı şey daha fazla olan nice nesilleri yok ettiğini bilmez mi? Suçluların suçları kendilerinden sorulmaz.

Karun berkata: "Sesungguhnya aku hanya diberi harta itu, karena ilmu yang ada padaku". Dan apakah ia tidak mengetahui, bahwasanya Allah sungguh telah membinasakan umat-umat sebelumnya yang lebih kuat daripadanya, dan lebih banyak mengumpulkan harta? Dan tidaklah perlu ditanya kepada orang-orang yang berdosa itu, tentang dosa-dosa mereka.

قارون نے کہا کہ مجھے یہ سب کچھ میرے علم کی بنا پر دیا گیا ہے تو کیا اسے یہ معلوم نہیں ہے کہ اللہ نے اس سے پہلے بہت سی نسلوں کو ہلاک کردیا ہے جو اس سے زیادہ طاقتور اور مال کے اعتبار سے دولت مند تھیں اور ایسے مجرموں سے تو ان کے گناہوں کے بارے میں سوال بھی نہیں کیا جاتا ہے

সে বলল, আমি এই ধন আমার নিজস্ব জ্ঞান-গরিমা দ্বারা প্রাপ্ত হয়েছি। সে কি জানে না যে, আল্লাহ তার পূর্বে অনেক সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করেছেন, যারা শক্তিতে ছিল তার চাইতে প্রবল এবং ধন-সম্পদে অধিক প্রাচুর্যশীল? পাপীদেরকে তাদের পাপকর্ম সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করা হবে না।
