And how many a city was stronger than your city [Makkah] which drove you out? We destroyed them; and there was no helper for them.

How many a town We have destroyed which was more powerful than your town which expelled you, and they had no helper.

And how many a township stronger than thy township (O Muhammad) which hath cast thee out, have We destroyed, and they had no helper!

And how many cities, with more power than thy city which has driven thee out, have We destroyed (for their sins)? and there was none to aid them.

How many a city that was stronger in might than thy city which has expelled thee have We destroyed! And there was no helper for them.

چه بسیار آبادی هایی که [اهلش] از [اهل] آبادی تو که تو را بیرون کرده اند نیرومندتر بودند، ما آنان را هلاک کردیم و یاوری [در برابر عذاب] برای آنان نبود.

و بسا شهرها که نیرومندتر از آن شهری بود که تو را [از خود] بیرون راند، که ما هلاکشان کردیم و برای آنها یار [و یاوری‌] نبود.

Seni sürüp çıkaran şehirden daha kuvvetli olan nice şehirler yok ettik. Yardım edenleri bulunmadı.

Dan betapa banyaknya negeri yang (penduduknya) lebih kuat dari pada (penduduk) negerimu (Muhammad) yang telah mengusirmu itu. Kami telah membinasakan mereka, maka tidak ada seorang penolongpun bagi mereka.

اور کتنی ہی بستیاں تھیں جو تمہاری اس بستی سے کہیں زیادہ طاقتور تھیں جس نے تمہیں نکال دیا ہے جب ہم نے انہیں ہلاک کردیا تو کوئی مدد کرنے والا بھی نہ پیدا ہوا

যে জনপদ আপনাকে বহিস্কার করেছে, তদপেক্ষা কত শক্তিশালী জনপদকে আমি ধ্বংস করেছি, অতঃপর তাদেরকে সাহায্য করার কেউ ছিল না।
