The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded.

The Messiah, son of Mary, is but an apostle. Certainly, [other] apostles have passed before him, and his mother was a truthful one. Both of them would eat food. Look how We clarify the signs for them, and yet, look, how they go astray!

The Messiah, son of Mary, was no other than a messenger, messengers (the like of whom) had passed away before him. And his mother was a saintly woman. And they both used to eat (earthly) food. See how We make the revelations clear for them, and see how they are turned away!

Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!

The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; Messengers before him passed away; his mother was a just woman; they both ate food. Behold, how We make clear the signs to them; then behold, how they perverted are!

مسیح، فرزند مریم جز فرستاده ای [از سوی خدا] نیست که پیش از او هم فرستادگانی گذشته اند. و مادرش زن بسیار راستگو [و درست کاری] بود. هر دو [مانند انسان های دیگر] غذا می خوردند. با تأمل بنگر چگونه نشانه ها را برای آنان بیان می کنیم [تا بدانند متولد شدگان و نیازمندان به خوراک، خدا نیستند]؛ سپس با تأمل بنگر که آنان چگونه [از حق به باطل] منحرف می شوند؟!

مسیح، پسر مریم جز پیامبری نبود که پیش از او [نیز] پیامبرانی آمده بودند؛ و مادرش زنی بسیار راستگو بود. هر دو غذا می‌خوردند. بنگر چگونه آیات [خود] را برای آنان توضیح می‌دهیم؛ سپس ببین چگونه [از حقیقت‌] دور می‌افتند.

Meryem oğlu Mesih sadece peygamberdir, -ondan önce de peygamberler geçmiştir- onun annesi dosdoğrudur, her ikisi de yemek yerlerdi. Onlara ayetleri nasıl açıkladığımıza bir bak, sonra da bak ki nasıl yüz çeviriyorlar!

Al Masih putera Maryam itu hanyalah seorang Rasul yang sesungguhnya telah berlalu sebelumnya beberapa rasul, dan ibunya seorang yang sangat benar, kedua-duanya biasa memakan makanan. Perhatikan bagaimana Kami menjelaskan kepada mereka (ahli kitab) tanda-tanda kekuasaan (Kami), kemudian perhatikanlah bagaimana mereka berpaling (dari memperhatikan ayat-ayat Kami itu).

مسیح علیھ السّلامبن مریم کچھ نہیں ہیں صرف ہمارے رسول ہیں جن سے پہلے بہت سے رسول گزر چکے ہیں اور ان کی ماں صدیقہ تھیں اور وہ دونوں کھانا کھایا کرتے تھے .... دیکھو ہم اپنی نشانیوں کو کس طرح واضح کرکے بیان کرتے ہیں اور پھر دیکھو کہ یہ لوگ کس طرح بہکے جارہے ہیں

মরিয়ম-তনয় মসীহ রসূল ছাড়া আর কিছু নন। তাঁর পূর্বে অনেক রসূল অতিক্রান্ত হয়েছেন আর তার জননী একজন ওলী। তাঁরা উভয়েই খাদ্য ভক্ষণ করতেন। দেখুন, আমি তাদের জন্যে কিরূপ যুক্তি-প্রমাণ বর্ননা করি, আবার দেখুন, তারা উল্টা কোন দিকে যাচেছ।
