And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient.

Judge between them by what Allah has sent down, and do not follow their desires. Beware of them lest they should beguile you from part of what Allah has sent down to you. But if they turn their backs [on you], then know that Allah desires to punish them for some of their sins, and indeed many of the people are transgressors.

So judge between them by that which Allah hath revealed, and follow not their desires, but beware of them lest they seduce thee from some part of that which Allah hath revealed unto thee. And if they turn away, then know that Allah's Will is to smite them for some sin of theirs. Lo! many of mankind are evil-livers.

And this (He commands): Judge thou between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they beguile thee from any of that (teaching) which Allah hath sent down to thee. And if they turn away, be assured that for some of their crime it is Allah's purpose to punish them. And truly most men are rebellious.

And judge between them according to what God has sent down, and do not follow their caprices, and beware of them lest they tempt thee away from any of what God has sent down to thee. But if they turn their backs, know that God desires only to smite them for some sin they have committed; surely, many men are ungodly.

و میان آنان بر طبق آنچه خدا نازل کرده است داوری کن، و از هواهای نفسانی آنان پیروی مکن، و از آنان برحذر باش که مبادا تو را از بخشی از آنچه خدا به سویت نازل کرده است، منحرف کنند. پس اگر [ازداوری حکیمانه ات] روی گردانند، بدان که خدا می خواهد آنان را به سبب پاره ای از گناهانشان مجازات کند؛ و مسلماً بسیاری از مردم فاسق اند.

و میان آنان به موجب آنچه خدا نازل کرده، داوری کن و از هواهایشان پیروی مکن و از آنان برحذر باش؛ مبادا تو را در بخشی از آنچه خدا بر تو نازل کرده به فتنه دراندازند. پس اگر پشت کردند، بدان که خدا می‌خواهد آنان را فقط به [سزای‌] پاره‌ای از گناهانشان برساند، و در حقیقت بسیاری از مردم نافرمانند.

O halde, Allah'ın indirdiği Kitap ile aralarında hükmet, Allah'ın sana indirdiği Kuran'ın bir kısmından seni vazgeçirmelerinden sakın, heveslerine uyma; eğer yüz çevirirlerse bil ki, Allah bir kısım günahları yüzünden onları cezalandırmak istiyor. İnsanların çoğu gerçekten fasıktırlar.

dan hendaklah kamu memutuskan perkara di antara mereka menurut apa yang diturunkan Allah, dan janganlah kamu mengikuti hawa nafsu mereka. Dan berhati-hatilah kamu terhadap mereka, supaya mereka tidak memalingkan kamu dari sebahagian apa yang telah diturunkan Allah kepadamu. Jika mereka berpaling (dari hukum yang telah diturunkan Allah), maka ketahuilah bahwa sesungguhnya Allah menghendaki akan menimpakan mushibah kepada mereka disebabkan sebahagian dosa-dosa mereka. Dan sesungguhnya kebanyakan manusia adalah orang-orang yang fasik.

اور پیغمبر آپ ان کے درمیان تنزیلِ خدا کے مطابق فیصلہ کریں اور ان کی خواہشات کا اتباع نہ کریں اور اس بات سے بچتے رہیں کہ یہ بعض احکام الٰہی سے منحرف کردیں -پھر اگر یہ خود منحرف ہوجائیں تو یاد رکھیں کہ خدا ان کو ان کے بعض گناہوں کی مصیبت میں مبتلا کرنا چاہتا ہے اور انسانوں کی اکثریت فاسق اور دائرسِ اطاعت سے خارج ہے

আর আমি আদেশ করছি যে, আপনি তাদের পারস্পরিক ব্যাপারাদিতে আল্লাহ যা নাযিল করেছেন তদনুযায়ী ফয়সালা করুন; তাদের প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করবেন না এবং তাদের থেকে সতর্ক থাকুন-যেন তারা আপনাকে এমন কোন নির্দেশ থেকে বিচ্যুত না করে, যা আল্লাহ আপনার প্রতি নাযিল করেছেন। অনন্তর যদি তার মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে জেনে নিন, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাদের গোনাহের কিছু শাস্তি দিতেই চেয়েছেন। মানুষের মধ্যে অনেকেই নাফরমান।
