Then your hearts became hardened after that, being like stones or even harder. For indeed, there are stones from which rivers burst forth, and there are some of them that split open and water comes out, and there are some of them that fall down for fear of Allah. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.

Then your hearts hardened after that; so they are like stones, or even harder. For there are some stones from which streams gush forth, and there are some of them that split, and water issues from them, and there are some that fall for the fear of Allah. And Allah is not oblivious of what you do.

Then, even after that, your hearts were hardened and became as rocks, or worse than rocks, for hardness. For indeed there are rocks from out which rivers gush, and indeed there are rocks which split asunder so that water floweth from them. And indeed there are rocks which fall down for the fear of Allah. Allah is not unaware of what ye do.

Thenceforth were your hearts hardened: They became like a rock and even worse in hardness. For among rocks there are some from which rivers gush forth; others there are which when split asunder send forth water; and others which sink for fear of Allah. And Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.

Then your hearts became hardened thereafter and are like stones, or even yet harder; for there are stones from which rivers come gushing, and others split, so that water issues from them, and others crash down in the fear of God. And God is not heedless of the things you do.

سپس دل های شما بعد از آن [معجزه شگفت انگیز] سخت شد، مانند سنگ یا سخت تر؛ زیرا پاره ای از سنگ هاست که از آنها نهرها می جوشد، و پاره ای از آنها می شکافد و آب از آن بیرون می آید، و پاره ای از آنها از ترس خدا [از بلندی] سقوط می کند؛ و خدا از آنچه انجام می دهید بی خبر نیست.

سپس دلهای شما بعد از این [واقعه‌] سخت گردید، همانند سنگ، یا سخت‌تر از آن، چرا که از برخی سنگها، جویهایی بیرون می‌زند، و پاره‌ای از آنها می‌شکافد و آب از آن خارج می‌شود، و برخی از آنها از بیم خدا فرو می‌ریزد، و خدا از آنچه می‌کنید غافل نیست.

Sonra kalbleriniz yine katılaştı, taş gibi, hatta daha da katı oldu. Nitekim taşlar arasında kendisinden ırmaklar fışkıran vardır; yarılıp su çıkan vardır; Allah korkusundan yuvarlananlar vardır. Allah yaptıklarınızı bilmez değildir.

Kemudian setelah itu hatimu menjadi keras seperti batu, bahkan lebih keras lagi. Padahal diantara batu-batu itu sungguh ada yang mengalir sungai-sungai dari padanya dan diantaranya sungguh ada yang terbelah lalu keluarlah mata air dari padanya dan diantaranya sungguh ada yang meluncur jatuh, karena takut kepada Allah. Dan Allah sekali-sekali tidak lengah dari apa yang kamu kerjakan.

پھر تمہارے دل سخت ہوگئے جیسے پتھر یا اس سے بھی کچھ زیادہ سخت کہ پتھروں میں سے تو بعض سے نہریں بھی جاری ہوجاتی ہیںاور بعض شگافتہ ہوجاتے ہیں تو ان سے پانی نکل آتا ہے اور بعض خورِ خدا سے گر پڑتے ہیں. لیکن اللہ تمہارے اعمال سے غافل نہیں ہے

অতঃপর এ ঘটনার পরে তোমাদের অন্তর কঠিন হয়ে গেছে। তা পাথরের মত অথবা তদপেক্ষাও কঠিন। পাথরের মধ্যে এমন ও আছে; যা থেকে ঝরণা প্রবাহিত হয়, এমনও আছে, যা বিদীর্ণ হয়, অতঃপর তা থেকে পানি নির্গত হয় এবং এমনও আছে, যা আল্লাহর ভয়ে খসেপড়তে থাকে! আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজকর্ম সম্পর্কে বে-খবর নন।
