[Fighting in] the sacred month is for [aggression committed in] the sacred month, and for [all] violations is legal retribution. So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you. And fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.

A sacred month for a sacred month, and all sanctities require retribution. So should anyone aggress against you, assail him in the manner he assailed you, and be wary of Allah, and know that Allah is with the Godwary.

The forbidden month for the forbidden month, and forbidden things in retaliation. And one who attacketh you, attack him in like manner as he attacked you. Observe your duty to Allah, and know that Allah is with those who ward off (evil).

The prohibited month for the prohibited month,- and so for all things prohibited,- there is the law of equality. If then any one transgresses the prohibition against you, Transgress ye likewise against him. But fear Allah, and know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.

The holy month for the holy month; holy things demand retaliation. Whoso commits aggression against you, do you commit aggression against him like as he has committed against you, and fear you God, and know that God is with the godfearing.

ماه حرام در برابر ماه حرام است [اگر دشمن حرمت آن را رعایت نکرد و با شما در آن جنگید، شما هم برای حفظ کیان خود در همان ماه با او بجنگید.] و همه حرمت ها دارای قصاص اند. پس هر که بر شما تعدّی کرد، شما هم به مثل آن بر او تعدّی کنید، و از خدا پروا نمایید، و بدانید که خدا با پروا پیشگان است.

این ماه حرام در برابر آن ماه حرام است، و [هتک‌] حرمتها قصاص دارد. پس هر کس بر شما تعدّی کرد، همان گونه که بر شما تعدّی کرده، بر او تعدّی کنید و از خدا پروا بدارید و بدانید که خدا با تقواپیشگان است.

Hürmetli ay, hürmetli aya mukabildir, hürmetler karşılıklıdır; o halde, size tecavüz edene (saldırana), size saldırdıkları gibi saldırın. Allah'tan sakının ve Allah'ın sakınanlarla beraber olduğunu bilin.

Bulan haram dengan bulan haram, dan pada sesuatu yang patut dihormati, berlaku hukum qishaash. Oleh sebab itu barangsiapa yang menyerang kamu, maka seranglah ia, seimbang dengan serangannya terhadapmu. Bertakwalah kepada Allah dan ketahuilah, bahwa Allah beserta orang-orang yang bertakwa.

شہر حرام کا جواب شہر حرام ہے اور حرمات کا بھی قصاص ہے لہٰذا جو تم پر زیادتی کرے تم بھی ویسا ہی برتاؤ کرو جیسی زیادتی اس نے کی ہے اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو اور یہ سمجھ لو کہ خدا پرہیزگاروں ہی کے ساتھ ہے

সম্মানিত মাসই সম্মানিত মাসের বদলা। আর সম্মান রক্ষা করারও বদলা রয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ যারা তোমাদের উপর জবর দস্তি করেছে, তোমরা তাদের উপর জবরদস্তি কর, যেমন জবরদস্তি তারা করেছে তোমাদের উপর। আর তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং জেনে রাখ, যারা পরহেযগার, আল্লাহ তাদের সাথে রয়েছেন।
