And he turned away from them and said, "O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the messages of my Lord and advised you, so how could I grieve for a disbelieving people?"

So he abandoned them [to their fate] and said, ‘O my people! Certainly, I communicated to you the messages of my Lord, and I was your well-wisher. So how should I grieve for a faithless lot?’

So he turned from them and said: O my people! I delivered my Lord's messages unto you and gave you good advice; then how can I sorrow for a people that rejected (truth)?

So Shu'aib left them, saying: "O my people! I did indeed convey to you the messages for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but how shall I lament over a people who refuse to believe!"

So he turned his back on them, and said, 'O my people, I have delivered to you the Messages of my Lord, and advised you sincerely; how should I grieve for a people of unbelievers?'

پس شعیب از آنان روی گردانید و گفت: ای قوم من! یقیناً من پیام های پروردگارم را به شما رساندم، و برای شما خیرخواهی کردم، با این حال چگونه بر گروهی که کافرند دریغ و تأسف خورم؟

پس [شعیب‌] از ایشان روی برتافت و گفت: «ای قوم من، به راستی که پیامهای پروردگارم را به شما رسانیدم و پندتان دادم؛ دیگر چگونه بر گروهی که کافرند دریغ بخورم؟»

Şuayb onlardan döndü de, "Ey milletim! And olsun ki, Rabbimin sözlerini size bildirdim, öğüt verdim; inkarcı millet için niçin üzüleyim?" dedi.

Maka Syu'aib meninggalkan mereka seraya berkata: "Hai kaumku, sesungguhnya aku telah menyampaikan kepadamu amanat-amanat Tuhanku dan aku telah memberi nasehat kepadamu. Maka bagaimana aku akan bersedih hati terhadap orang-orang yang kafir?"

اس کے بعد شعیب علیھ السّلامنے ان سے منہ پھیر لیا اور کہا کہ اے قوم میں نے اپنے پروردگار کے پیغامات کو پہنچادیا اور تمہیں نصیحت بھی کی تو اب کفر اختیار کرنے والوں کے حال پر کس طرح افسوس کروں

অনন্তর সে তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রস্থান করল এবং বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, আমি তোমাদেরকে প্রতিপালকের পয়গাম পৌছে দিয়েছি এবং তোমাদের হিত কামনা করেছি। এখন আমি কাফেরদের জন্যে কেন দুঃখ করব।
