عَنْهُمْ لَقَدْ لَكُمْ عَلَىٰ ﴿٩٣﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And he turned away from them and said, "O my people, I had certainly conveyed to you the messages of my Lord and advised you, so how could I grieve for a disbelieving people?"

  • قَٰلَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكُم بِأَهْدَىٰ مِمَّا وَجَدتُّمْ عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَكُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا بِمَآ أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ

    [Each warner] said, "Even if I brought you better guidance than that [religion] upon which you found your fathers?" They said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are…

  • قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرْنِى بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ

    He said, "My Lord, support me because they have denied me."

  • وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

    And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.

  • قَالَ إِنِّى لِعَمَلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلْقَالِينَ

    He said, "Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it].
