If you [have reason to] fear from a people betrayal, throw [their treaty] back to them, [putting you] on equal terms. Indeed, Allah does not like traitors.

And if you fear treachery from a people, break off [the treaty] with them in a like manner. Indeed Allah does not like the treacherous.

And if thou fearest treachery from any folk, then throw back to them (their treaty) fairly. Lo! Allah loveth not the treacherous.

If thou fearest treachery from any group, throw back (their covenant) to them, (so as to be) on equal terms: for Allah loveth not the treacherous.

And if thou fearest treachery any way at the hands of a people, dissolve it with them equally; surely God loves not the treacherous.

و اگر از خیانت و پیمان شکنی گروهی [که با آنان هم پیمانی] بیم داری، پس به آنان خبر ده که [پیمان] به صورتی مساوی [و طرفینی] گسسته است؛ زیرا خدا خائنان را دوست ندارد.

و اگر از گروهی بیم خیانت داری [پیمانشان را] به سویشان بینداز [تا طرفین‌] به طور یکسان [بدانند که پیمان گسسته است‌]، زیرا خدا خائنان را دوست نمی‌دارد.

Eğer bir topluluğun anlaşmaya hıyanet etmesinden korkarsan, sen de onlara karşı anlaşmayı bozarak aynı şekilde davran. Doğrusu Allah hainleri sevmez.

Dan jika kamu khawatir akan (terjadinya) pengkhianatan dari suatu golongan, maka kembalikanlah perjanjian itu kepada mereka dengan cara yang jujur. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak menyukai orang-orang yang berkhianat.

اور اگر کسی قوم سے کسی خیانت یا بدعہدی کا خطرہ ہے تو آپ بھی ان کے عہد کو ان کی طرف پھینک دیں کہ اللہ خیانت کاروں کو دوست نہیں رکھتا ہے

তবে কোন সম্প্রদায়ের ধোঁকা দেয়ার ব্যাপারে যদি তোমাদের ভয় থাকে, তবে তাদের চুক্তি তাদের দিকেই ছুঁড়ে ফেলে দাও এমনভাবে যেন হয়ে যাও তোমরাও তারা সমান। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ ধোকাবাজ, প্রতারককে পছন্দ করেন না।
