If you could but see when they are made to stand before the Fire and will say, "Oh, would that we could be returned [to life on earth] and not deny the signs of our Lord and be among the believers."

Were you to see when they are brought to a halt by the Fire, whereupon they will say, ‘If only we were sent back [into the world]! Then we will not deny the signs of our Lord, and we will be among the faithful!’

If thou couldst see when they are set before the Fire and say: Oh, would that we might return! Then would we not deny the revelations of our Lord but we would be of the believers!

If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with the Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back! Then would we not reject the signs of our Lord, but would be amongst those who believe!"

If thou couldst see when they are stationed before the Fire, and they say, 'Would that we might be returned, and then not cry lies to the signs of our Lord, but that we might be among the believers!'

اگر هنگامی که آنان را بر آتش [دوزخ] نگه داشته اند ببینی [حالتی ذلت بار و وضعی هول انگیز می بینی] می گویند: ای کاش به دنیا بازگردانده می شدیم، و در آنجا آیات پروردگارمان را تکذیب نمی کردیم، و از مؤمنان می شدیم.

و ای کاش [منکران را] هنگامی که بر آتش عرضه می‌شوند، می‌دیدی که می‌گویند: «کاش بازگردانده می‌شدیم و [دیگر] آیات پروردگارمان را تکذیب نمی‌کردیم و از مؤمنان می‌شدیم.»

Onların, ateşin kenarına getirilip durdurulduklarında, "keşke dünyaya tekrar döndürülseydik, Rabbimiz'in ayetlerini yalanlamasaydık ve inananlardan olsaydık" dediklerini bir görsen!

Dan jika kamu (Muhammad) melihat ketika mereka dihadapkan ke neraka, lalu mereka berkata: "Kiranya kami dikembalikan (ke dunia) dan tidak mendustakan ayat-ayat Tuhan kami, serta menjadi orang-orang yang beriman", (tentulah kamu melihat suatu peristiwa yang mengharukan).

اگر آپ دیکھتے کہ یہ کس طرح جہنّم کے سامنے کھڑے کئے گئے اور کہنے لگے کہ کاش ہم پلٹا دئیے جاتے اور پروردگار کی نشانیوں کی تکذیب نہ کرتے اور مومنین میں شامل ہوجاتے

আর আপনি যদি দেখেন, যখন তাদেরকে দোযখের উপর দাঁড় করানো হবে! তারা বলবেঃ কতই না ভাল হত, যদি আমরা পুনঃ প্রেরিত হতাম; তা হলে আমরা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার নিদর্শনসমূহে মিথ্যারোপ করতাম না এবং আমরা বিশ্বাসীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যেতাম।
