Saheeh International

O Prophet, say to your wives, "If you should desire the worldly life and its adornment, then come, I will provide for you and give you a gracious release.

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

و همسری پیامبر یا تجملات دنیا

مفسران» شأن نزول‌های متعددی برای این آیات ذکر کرده‌اند که از نظر نتیجه چندان تفاوتی با هم ندارند. از این شأن نزول‌ها استفاده می‌شود که همسران پیامبر بعد از پاره‌ای از غزوات که غنایم سرشاری در اختیار مسلمانان قرار گرفت, تقاضاهای گوناگونی از پیامبر(ص) در مورد افزایش نفقه یا لوازم گوناگون زندگی داشتند. پیامبر که می‌دانست تسلیم شدن در برابر این‌گونه درخواست‌ها چه عواقبی برای خاندان نبوت در بر خواهد داشتء از انجام این خواسته‌ها سرباز زد و یک ماه تمام از آنها کناره گرفت. تا اینکه این آیات نازل شد و تکلیف همسران پیامبر را _ که باید الکوی زنان باایمان باشند - مشخص کرد و کَفت که اگر زنان پیامبر نسبت به زرق و برق و تجملات دنیا بی‌اعتنا باشند و به ایمان و عمل صالح و معنویت توجه داشته باشند، می توانند درکنار پیامبر بمانند و افتخار همسری با پیامبر را داشته باشند، وکرنه باید راه خود رادر بیش کیرند و از او جدا شوند. کرجه مخاطب این سخنان، همسران پیامبرند، محتوای ایات و نتیجه ان، همکان را شامل می‌شود؛ به ویژه کسانی که در مقام رهبری و پیشوایی مردم قرار گرفته‌اند. آنها همیشه بر سر دوراهی قرار دارند: استفاده از موقعیت ظاهری خویش برای رسیدن به زندگی مرفه مادی یا تن در دادن به محرومیت‌ها برای نیل به رضای خدا و هدایت خلق.
