Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration -

Among the faithful are men who fulfill what they have pledged to Allah: there are some among them who have fulfilled their pledge, and some of them who still wait, and they have not changed in the least,

Of the believers are men who are true to that which they covenanted with Allah. Some of them have paid their vow by death (in battle), and some of them still are waiting; and they have not altered in the least;

Among the Believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah: of them some have completed their vow (to the extreme), and some (still) wait: but they have never changed (their determination) in the least:

Among the believers are men who were true to their covenant with God; some of them have fulfilled their vow by death, and some are still awaiting, and they have not changed in the least;

از مؤمنان مردانی هستند که به آنچه با خدا بر آن پیمان بستند [و آن ثبات قدم و دفاع از حق تا نثار جان بود] صادقانه وفا کردند، برخی از آنان پیمانشان را به انجام رساندند [و به شرف شهادت نایل شدند] و برخی از آنان [شهادت را] انتظار می برند و هیچ تغییر و تبدیلی [در پیمانشان] نداده اند،

از میان مؤمنان مردانی‌اند که به آنچه با خدا عهد بستند صادقانه وفا کردند. برخی از آنان به شهادت رسیدند و برخی از آنها در [همین‌] انتظارند و [هرگز عقیده خود را] تبدیل نکردند.

İnananlardan, Allah'a verdiği ahdi yerine getiren adamlar vardır. Kimi, bu uğurda canını vermiş, kimi de beklemektedir. Ahdlerini hiç değiştirmemişlerdir.

Di antara orang-orang mukmin itu ada orang-orang yang menepati apa yang telah mereka janjikan kepada Allah; maka di antara mereka ada yang gugur. Dan di antara mereka ada (pula) yang menunggu-nunggu dan mereka tidak merubah (janjinya),

مومنین میں ایسے بھی مردُ میدان ہیں جنہوں نے اللہ سے کئے وعدہ کو سچ کر دکھایا ہے ان میں بعض اپنا وقت پورا کرچکے ہیں اور بعض اپنے وقت کا انتظار کررہے ہیں اور ان لوگوں نے اپنی بات میں کوئی تبدیلی نہیں پیدا کی ہے

মুমিনদের মধ্যে কতক আল্লাহর সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা পূর্ণ করেছে। তাদের কেউ কেউ মৃত্যুবরণ করেছে এবং কেউ কেউ প্রতীক্ষা করছে। তারা তাদের সংকল্প মোটেই পরিবর্তন করেনি।
