They said, "Have you come to us to turn us away from that upon which we found our fathers and so that you two may have grandeur in the land? And we are not believers in you."

They said, ‘Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our fathers following, so that supremacy may be yours in the land? We will not believe in the two of you.’

They said: Hast thou come unto us to pervert us from that (faith) in which we found our fathers, and that you two may own the place of greatness in the land? We will not believe you two.

They said: "Hast thou come to us to turn us away from the ways we found our fathers following,- in order that thou and thy brother may have greatness in the land? But not we shall believe in you!"

They said, 'Art thou come to us to turn us from that we found our fathers practising, and that the domination in the land might belong to you two? We do not believe you.

گفتند: آیا به سوی ما آمده ای تا ما را از آیینی که پدرانمان را بر آن یافته ایم، برگردانی و [با نابود کردن ما] قدرت و حکومت در این سرزمین برای شما دو نفر باشد؟ و ما به شما دو نفر ایمان نمی آوریم!

گفتند: «آیا به سوی ما آمده‌ای تا ما را از شیوه‌ای که پدرانمان را بر آن یافته‌ایم بازگردانی، و بزرگی در این سرزمین برای شما دو تن باشد؟ ما به شما دو تن ایمان نداریم.»

"Siz ikiniz, bizi babalarımızı üzerinde bulduğumuz yoldan çevirmek ve yeryüzünün büyükleri olasınız diye mi geldiniz? Biz size inanmıyoruz" dediler.

Mereka berkata: "Apakah kamu datang kepada kami untuk memalingkan kami dari apa yang kami dapati nenek moyang kami mengerjakannya, dan supaya kamu berdua mempunyai kekuasaan di muka bumi? Kami tidak akan mempercayai kamu berdua".

ان لوگوں نے کہا تم یہ پیغام اس لئے لائے ہو کہ ہمیں باپ دادا کے راستہ سے منحرف کردو اور تم دونوں کو زمین میں حکومت و اقتدار مل جائے اور ہم ہرگز تمہاری بات مانتے والے نہیں ہیں

তারা বলল, তুমি কি আমাদেরকে সে পথ থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে এসেছ যাতে আমরা পেয়েছি আমাদের বাপ-দাদাদেরকে? আর যাতে তোমরা দুইজন এদেশের সর্দারী পেয়ে যেতে পার? আমরা তোমাদেরকে কিছুতেই মানব না।
