It is He who enables you to travel on land and sea until, when you are in ships and they sail with them by a good wind and they rejoice therein, there comes a storm wind and the waves come upon them from everywhere and they assume that they are surrounded, supplicating Allah, sincere to Him in religion, "If You should save us from this, we will surely be among the thankful."

It is He who carries you across land and sea. When you are in the ships, and they sail along with them with a favourable wind, exulting in it, there comes upon them a tempestuous wind and waves assail them from every side, and they think that they are besieged, they invoke Allah putting exclusive faith in Him, ‘If You deliver us from this, we will surely be among the grateful.’

He it is Who maketh you to go on the land and the sea till, when ye are in the ships and they sail with them with a fair breeze and they are glad therein, a storm-wind reacheth them and the wave cometh unto them from every side and they deem that they are overwhelmed therein; (then) they cry unto Allah, making their faith pure for Him only: If Thou deliver us from this, we truly will be of the thankful.

He it is Who enableth you to traverse through land and sea; so that ye even board ships;- they sail with them with a favourable wind, and they rejoice thereat; then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to them from all sides, and they think they are being overwhelmed: they cry unto Allah, sincerely offering (their) duty unto Him saying, "If thou dost deliver us from this, we shall truly show our gratitude!"

It is He who conveys you on the land and the sea; and when you are in the ship -- and the ships run with them with a fair breeze, and they rejoice in it, there comes upon them a strong wind, and waves come on them from every side, and they think they are encompassed; they call upon God, making their religion His sincerely: 'If Thou deliverest us from these, surely we shall be among the thankful.'

او کسی است که شما را در خشکی و دریا گردش می دهد، تا آن گاه که در کشتی ها باشید و کشتی ها مسافرانش را با بادی ملایم و آرام حرکت دهند، و کشتی نشینان به آن باد ملایم و آرام شادمان شوند، ناگاه بادی تند و سخت بر آن کشتی وَزَد و از هر طرف موجی سهمگین بر آنان تازد، و یقین کنند که در محاصره [امواج خطرناک] افتاده اند [و راهی برای نجات ندارند]، [در آن هنگامه هلاکت بار] خدا را در حالی که ایمان و عبادت را از هر گونه شرکی برای او خالص می کنند، می خوانند که اگر ما را از این [عرصه هلاکت بار] نجات دهی، مسلماً و قطعاً از سپاس گزاران خواهیم شد.

او کسی است که شما را در خشکی و دریا می‌گرداند، تا وقتی که در کشتیها باشید و آنها با بادی خوش، آنان را بِبَرَند و ایشان بدان شاد شوند [بناگاه‌] بادی سخت بر آنها وزد و موج از هر طرف بر ایشان تازد و یقین کنند که در محاصره افتاده‌اند، در آن حال خدا را پاکدلانه می‌خوانند که: «اگر ما را از این [ورطه‌] بِرَهانی، قطعاً از سپاسگزاران خواهیم شد.»

Sizi karada ve denizde yürüten Allah'tır. Bulunduğunuz gemi, içindekileri güzel bir rüzgarla götürürken yolcular neşelenirler; bir fırtına çıkıp da onları her taraftan dalgaların sardığı ve çepeçevre kuşatıldıklarını sandıkları anda ise Allah'ın dinine sarılarak, "Bizi bu tehlikeden kurtarırsan and olsun ki şükredenlerden oluruz" diye O'na yalvarırlar.

Dialah Tuhan yang menjadikan kamu dapat berjalan di daratan, (berlayar) di lautan. Sehingga apabila kamu berada di dalam bahtera, dan meluncurlah bahtera itu membawa orang-orang yang ada di dalamnya dengan tiupan angin yang baik, dan mereka bergembira karenanya, datanglah angin badai, dan (apabila) gelombang dari segenap penjuru menimpanya, dan mereka yakin bahwa mereka telah terkepung (bahaya), maka mereka berdoa kepada Allah dengan mengikhlaskan ketaatan kepada-Nya semata-mata. (Mereka berkata): "Sesungguhnya jika Engkau menyelamatkan kami dari bahaya ini, pastilah kami akan termasuk orang-orang yang bersyukur".

وہ خدا وہ ہے جو تمہیں خشکی اور سمندر میں سیر کراتا ہے یہاں تک کہ جب تم کشتی میں تھے اور پاکیزہ ہوائیں چلیں اور سارے مسافر خوش ہوگئے تو اچانک ایک تیز ہوا چل گئی اور موجوں نے ہر طرف سے گھیرے میں لے لیا اور یہ خیال پیدا ہوگیا کہ چارں طرف سے کَھرگئے ہیں تو دین خالص کے ساتھ اللہ سے دعا کرنے لگے کہ اگر اس مصیبت سے نجات مل گئی تو ہم یقینا شکر گزاروں میں ہوجائیں گے

তিনিই তোমাদের ভ্রমন করান স্থলে ও সাগরে। এমনকি যখন তোমরা নৌকাসমূহে আরোহণ করলে আর তা লোকজনকে অনুকূল হাওয়ায় বয়ে নিয়ে চলল এবং তাতে তারা আনন্দিত হল, নৌকাগুলোর উপর এল তীব্র বাতাস, আর সর্বদিক থেকে সেগুলোর উপর ঢেউ আসতে লাগল এবং তারা জানতে পারল যে, তারা অবরুদ্ধ হয়ে পড়েছে, তখন ডাকতে লাগল আল্লাহকে তাঁর এবাদতে নিঃস্বার্থ হয়ে যদি তুমি আমাদেরকে এ বিপদ থেকে উদ্ধার করে তোল, তাহলে নিঃসন্দেহে আমরা কৃতজ্ঞ থাকব।
