And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah. And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

We did not send any apostle but to be obeyed by Allah’s leave. Had they, when they wronged themselves, come to you and pleaded to Allah for forgiveness, and the Apostle had pleaded for them [to Allah]for forgiveness, they would have surely found Allah all-clement, all-merciful.

We sent no messenger save that he should be obeyed by Allah's leave. And if, when they had wronged themselves, they had but come unto thee and asked forgiveness of Allah, and asked forgiveness of the messenger, they would have found Allah Forgiving, Merciful.

We sent not a messenger, but to be obeyed, in accordance with the will of Allah. If they had only, when they were unjust to themselves, come unto thee and asked Allah's forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah indeed Oft-returning, Most Merciful.

We sent not ever any Messenger, but that he should he obeyed, by the leave of God. If; when they wronged themselves, they had come to thee, and prayed forgiveness of God, and the Messenger had prayed forgiveness for them, they would have found God turns, All-compassionate.

و هیچ پیامبری را نفرستادیم مگر آنکه به توفیق خدا از او اطاعت شود. و اگر آنان هنگامی که [با ارتکاب گناه] به خود ستم کردند، نزد تو می آمدند و از خدا آمرزش می خواستند، و پیامبر هم برای آنان طلب آمرزش می کرد، یقیناً خدا را بسیار توبه پذیر و مهربان می یافتند.

و ما هیچ پیامبری را نفرستادیم مگر آنکه به توفیق الهی از او اطاعت کنند. و اگر آنان وقتی به خود ستم کرده بودند، پیش تو می‌آمدند و از خدا آمرزش می‌خواستند و پیامبر [نیز] برای آنان طلب آمرزش می‌کرد، قطعاً خدا را توبه‌پذیرِ مهربان می‌یافتند.

Biz her peygamberi ancak, Allah'ın izniyle, itaat olunması için gönderdik. Onlar, kendilerine yazık ettiklerinde, sana gelip Allah'tan mağfiret dileseler ve Peygamber de onlara mağfiret dileseydi, Allah'ın tevbeleri daima kabul ve merhamet eden olduğunu görürlerdi.

Dan Kami tidak mengutus seseorang rasul melainkan untuk ditaati dengan seizin Allah. Sesungguhnya jikalau mereka ketika menganiaya dirinya datang kepadamu, lalu memohon ampun kepada Allah, dan Rasulpun memohonkan ampun untuk mereka, tentulah mereka mendapati Allah Maha Penerima Taubat lagi Maha Penyayang.

اور ہم نے کسی رسول کو بھی نہیں بھیجا ہے مگر صرف اس لئے کہ حکِم خدا سے اس کی اطاعت کی جائے اور کاش جب ان لوگوں نے اپنے نفس پر ظلم کیا تھا تو آپ کے پاس آتے اور خود بھی اپنے گناہوں کے لئے استغفار کرتے اور رسول بھی ان کے حق میں استغفار کرتا تو یہ خدا کو بڑا ہی توبہ قبول کرنے والا اور مہربان پاتے

বস্তুতঃ আমি একমাত্র এই উদ্দেশ্যেই রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি, যাতে আল্লাহর নির্দেশানুযায়ী তাঁদের আদেশ-নিষেধ মান্য করা হয়। আর সেসব লোক যখন নিজেদের অনিষ্ট সাধন করেছিল, তখন যদি আপনার কাছে আসত অতঃপর আল্লাহর নিকট ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করত এবং রসূলও যদি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করিয়ে দিতেন। অবশ্যই তারা আল্লাহকে ক্ষমাকারী, মেহেরবানরূপে পেত।
