وَلَا بِمَا عَن وَلَكُمْ ﴿٩٤﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And do not take your oaths as [means of] deceit between you, lest a foot slip after it was [once] firm, and you would taste evil [in this world] for what [people] you diverted from the way of Allah, and you would have [in the Hereafter] a great punishment.

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

دو پیامد منفی شکستن سوگند و پیمان

این آیه برای پیمان‌شکنی و استفادةٌ خیانت‌آمیز از سوگندها دو پیامد منفی ذکر کرده است: ۱- اعتماد مردم به خاطر این رفتار سلب می‌شود و عده‌ای از ایمان‌آورندگان در ایمانشان سست و متزلزل می‌گردند. ۲- عذاب الهی در سرای دیگر نصیب انسان می‌شود. اگرچه این آیه و آَیة بعد به طور عمومی از هر نوع پیمان‌شکنی و سوء استفاده از سوگند نهی می‌کند؛ در روایاتی از ال بیت(ع) شکستن پیمان ولایت علی(ع) که پیامبر اسلام از مردم گرفت» یکی از بزرگ‌ترین مصادیق این یات معرفی شده است. آری» شکستن آن پیمان حیاتیء از طرفی موجب گمراهی بسیاری از انسان‌ها از راه راست الهی شد و از طرفیء عذاب عظیم الهی را برای پیمان‌شکنان به ارمغان آورد.

    They took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah, and for them is a humiliating punishment.

  • وَإِن نَّكَثُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٰنَهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ عَهْدِهِمْ وَطَعَنُوا۟ فِى دِينِكُمْ فَقَٰتِلُوٓا۟ أَئِمَّةَ ٱلْكُفْرِ إِنَّهُمْ لَآ أَيْمَٰنَ لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَنتَهُونَ

    And if they break their oaths after their treaty and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that]…

  • وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُكُمُ ٱلْكَذِبَ هَٰذَا حَلَٰلٌ وَهَٰذَا حَرَامٌ لِّتَفْتَرُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ

    And do not say about what your tongues assert of untruth, "This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent falsehood about Allah. Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah…
