مَاذَآ ﴿٦٥﴾

And [mention] the Day He will call them and say, "What did you answer the messengers?"

چه پاسخی به پیامبران گفتید؟

این آّیه» تعقیبی است بر بحثی که در یات گذشته در بارةٌ مشرکان آمد و سوالاتی که از آنها در قیامت می‌شود. به دنبال سوّال از معبودهای آنهاء سوّال دیگری از عکس‌العمل آنان در برابر پیامبران مشود. بشک کافران پاسخی ندارند. اکر بکَویند دعوت انها را اجابت کردیم، که این دروغ است و دروغ در آن صحنه خریدار ندارد. اگر هم بگویند که تکذیبشان کردیم» به آنها تهمت زدیم» ساحرشان نامیدیم؛ مجنونشان خواندیم» بر ضد آنها دست به پیکار مسلحانه زدیم و آنها و پیروانشان را به قتل رساندیم» هر چه بگویند. مایةٌ بدبختی و رسوایی است. جایی که پیامبران بزرگ الهی در روز قیامت در برابر این سوّال که مردم چه پاسخی به دعوت شما دادندء می‌گویند: «ما چیزی نمی‌دانیم؛ تو خود از همه اسرار نهان آگاهی.» (مائده - ۹) این کوردلان مشرک چه می‌توانند در پاسخ این سوّال بگویند؟

    Until, when they arrive [at the place of Judgement], He will say, "Did you deny My signs while you encompassed them not in knowledge, or what [was it that] you were doing?"

  • وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآءِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ

    And [warn of] the Day He will call them and say, "Where are my 'partners' which you used to claim?"

  • يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَآ أُجِبْتُمْ قَالُوا۟ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلَّٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ

    [Be warned of] the Day when Allah will assemble the messengers and say, "What was the response you received?" They will say, "We have no knowledge. Indeed, it is You who is Knower…

  • إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٍ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسْلُكُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ رَصَدًا

    Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before each messenger and behind him observers
