And the heart of Moses' mother became empty [of all else]. She was about to disclose [the matter concerning] him had We not bound fast her heart that she would be of the believers.

The heart of Moses’ mother became desolate, and indeed she was about to divulge it had We not fortified her heart so that she might have faith [in Allah’s promise].

And the heart of the mother of Moses became void, and she would have betrayed him if We had not fortified her heart, that she might be of the believers.

But there came to be a void in the heart of the mother of Moses: She was going almost to disclose his (case), had We not strengthened her heart (with faith), so that she might remain a (firm) believer.

On the morrow the heart of Moses" mother became empty, and she wellnigh disclosed him had We not strengthened her heart, that she might be among the believers;

و قلب مادر موسی [از هر چیز جز یاد فرزندش] تهی شد [و در اضطراب و نگرانی فرو رفت]. اگر قلبش را [با لطف خود] محکم و استوار نکرده بودیم تا از باورکنندگان وعده ما باشد، به درستی که نزدیک بود آن [حادثه پنهانی] را فاش کند،

و دل مادر موسی [از هر چیز، جز از فکر فرزند] تهی گشت. اگر قلبش را استوار نساخته بودیم تا از ایمان‌آورندگان باشد، چیزی نمانده بود که آن [راز] را افشا کند.

Musa'nın annesi, gönlü bomboş sabahı etti, oğlundan başka bir şey düşünemiyordu. Allah'ın vaadine iyice inanması için kalbini pekiştirmeseydik, neredeyse saraya alınan çocuğun kendi oğlu olduğunu açığa vuracaktı.

Dan menjadi kosonglah hati ibu Musa. Sesungguhnya hampir saja ia menyatakan rahasia tentang Musa, seandainya tidak Kami teguhkan hatinya, supaya ia termasuk orang-orang yang percaya (kepada janji Allah).

اور موسٰی کی ماں کا دل بالکل خالی ہوگیا کہ قریب تھا کہ وہ اس راز کو فاش کردیتیں اگر ہم ان کے دل کو مطمئن نہ بنادیتے تاکہ وہ ایمان لانے والوں میں شامل ہوجائیں

সকালে মূসা জননীর অন্তর অস্থির হয়ে পড়ল। যদি আমি তাঁর হৃদয়কে দৃঢ় করে না দিতাম, তবে তিনি মূসাজনিত অস্থিরতা প্রকাশ করেই দিতেন। দৃঢ় করলাম, যাতে তিনি থাকেন বিশ্ববাসীগণের মধ্যে।
