And from those who say, "We are Christians" We took their covenant; but they forgot a portion of that of which they were reminded. So We caused among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. And Allah is going to inform them about what they used to do.

Also from those who say, ‘We are Christians,’ We took their pledge; but they forgot a part of what they were reminded. So We stirred up enmity and hatred among them until the Day of Resurrection, and soon Allah will inform them concerning what they had been doing.

And with those who say: "Lo! we are Christians," We made a covenant, but they forgot a part of that whereof they were admonished. Therefor We have stirred up enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will inform them of their handiwork.

From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.

And with those who say 'We are Christians' We took compact; and they have forgotten a portion of that they were reminded of. So We have stirred up among them enmity and hatred, till the Day of Resurrection; and God will assuredly tell them of the things they wrought.

و از کسانی که گفتند: ما نصرانی هستیم، [بر لزوم اطاعت از خود و پیروی از عیسی] پیمان گرفتیم، پس بخشی از آنچه را [از معارف و احکام انجیل واقعی] که به وسیله آن پند داده شدند، از یاد بردند [و نادیده گرفتند]، بر این اساس میان آنان تا روز قیامت کینه و دشمنی انداختیم، و خدا آنان را از آنچه همواره انجام می دادند، آگاه می کند.

و از کسانی که گفتند: «ما نصرانی هستیم»، از ایشان [نیز] پیمان گرفتیم، و[لی‌] بخشی از آنچه را بدان اندرز داده شده بودند فراموش کردند، و ما [هم‌] تا روز قیامت میانشان دشمنی و کینه افکندیم، و به زودی خدا آنان را از آنچه می‌کرده‌اند [و می‌ساخته‌اند] خبر می‌دهد.

"Biz hıristiyanız" diyenlerden de söz almıştık; onlar, kendilerine belletilenin bir kısmını unuttular, bu yüzden aralarına kıyamete kadar düşmanlık ve kin saldık. Allah, yapmakta olduklarını kendilerine haber verecektir.

Dan diantara orang-orang yang mengatakan: "Sesungguhnya kami ini orang-orang Nasrani", ada yang telah kami ambil perjanjian mereka, tetapi mereka (sengaja) melupakan sebagian dari apa yang mereka telah diberi peringatan dengannya; maka Kami timbulkan di antara mereka permusuhan dan kebencian sampai hari kiamat. Dan kelak Allah akan memberitakan kepada mereka apa yang mereka kerjakan.

اور جن لوگوں کا کہنا ہے کہ ہم نصرانی ہیں ہم نے ان سے بھی عہد لیا اور انہوں نے بھی ہماری نصیحت (انجیل)کے ایک حصّہ کو فراموش کردیا تو ہم نے بطور سزا ان کے درمیان عداوت اور بغض کو قیامت تک کے لئے راستہ دے دیا اور عنقریب خدا انہیں ان باتوں سے باخبر کرے گا جو وہ انجام دے رہے تھے

যারা বলেঃ আমরা নাছারা, আমি তাদের কাছ থেকেও তাদের অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছিলাম। অতঃপর তারাও যে উপদেশ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল, তা থেকে উপকার লাভ করা ভুলে গেল। অতঃপর আমি কেয়ামত পর্যন্ত তাদের মধ্যে পারস্পরিক শত্রুতা ও বিদ্বেষ সঞ্চারিত করে দিয়েছি। অবশেষে আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাদের কৃতকর্ম সম্পর্কে অবহিত করবেন।
