Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn [at worldly life] so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus will Allah show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.

and when the followers will say, ‘Had there been another turn for us, we would disown them as they disown us [now]!’ Thus shall Allah show them their deeds as regrets for themselves, and they shall not leave the Fire.

And those who were but followers will say: If a return were possible for us, we would disown them even as they have disowned us. Thus will Allah show them their own deeds as anguish for them, and they will not emerge from the Fire.

And those who followed would say: "If only We had one more chance, We would clear ourselves of them, as they have cleared themselves of us." Thus will Allah show them (The fruits of) their deeds as (nothing but) regrets. Nor will there be a way for them out of the Fire.

and those that followed say, 'O if only we might return again and disown them, as they have disowned us!' Even so God shall show them their works. O bitter regrets for them! Never shall they issue from the Fire.

و آنان که [به جای خدا از پیشوایان شرک و کفر] پیروی کردند، گویند: کاش برای ما بازگشتی [به دنیا] بود تا ما هم از آنان بیزاری می جستیم، همان گونه که آنان از ما بیزاری جستند. خدا این گونه اعمالشان را که برای آنان مایه اندوه و دریغ است، به آنان نشان می دهد و اینان هرگز از آتش بیرون آمدنی نیستند.

و پیروان می‌گویند: «کاش برای ما بازگشتی بود تا همان گونه که [آنان‌] از ما بیزاری جستند [ما نیز] از آنان بیزاری می‌جستیم.» این گونه خداوند، کارهایشان را -که بر آنان مایه حسرتهاست- به ایشان می‌نمایاند، و از آتش بیرون‌آمدنی نیستند.

Uyanlar: "Keşke bizim için dünyaya bir dönüş olsa da, bizden uzaklaştıkları gibi biz de onlardan uzaklaşsak" derler. Böylece Allah onlara, hasretini çekecekleri işlerini gösterir. Onlar cehennemden çıkmayacaklardır.

Dan berkatalah orang-orang yang mengikuti: "Seandainya kami dapat kembali (ke dunia), pasti kami akan berlepas diri dari mereka, sebagaimana mereka berlepas diri dari kami". Demikianlah Allah memperlihatkan kepada mereka amal perbuatannya menjadi sesalan bagi mereka; dan sekali-kali mereka tidak akan keluar dari api neraka.

اور مرید بھی یہ کہیں گے کہ اے کاش ہم نے ان سے اسی طرح بیزاری اختیار کی ہوتی جس طرح یہ آج ہم سے نفرت کر رہے ہیں. خدا ان سب کے اعمال کو اسی طرح حسرت بنا کر پیش کرے گا اور ان میں سے کوئی جہّنم سے نکلنے والا نہیں ہے

এবং অনুসারীরা বলবে, কতইনা ভাল হত, যদি আমাদিগকে পৃথিবীতে ফিরে যাবার সুযোগ দেয়া হত। তাহলে আমরাও তাদের প্রতি তেমনি অসন্তুষ্ট হয়ে যেতাম, যেমন তারা অসন্তুষ্ট হয়েছে আমাদের প্রতি। এভাবেই আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে দেখাবেন তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদেরকে অনুতপ্ত করার জন্যে। অথচ, তারা কস্মিনকালেও আগুন থেকে বের হতে পারবে না।
