Or did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they were at play?

Do the people of the towns feel secure from Our punishment overtaking them at midday while they are playing around?

Or are the people of the townships then secure from the coming of Our wrath upon them in the daytime while they play?

Or else did they feel secure against its coming in broad daylight while they played about (care-free)?

Do the people of the cities feel secure Our might shall not come upon them in daylight while they are playing?

آیا اهل شهرها ایمنند از اینکه هنگام روز، عذاب ما در حالی که سرگرم [امور دنیایی] اند بر آنان در آید؟!

و آیا ساکنان شهرها ایمن شده‌اند از اینکه عذاب ما نیمروز -در حالی که به بازی سرگرمند- به ایشان دررسد؟

Yahut kentlerin halkı, kuşluk vakti eğlenirlerken azabımızın kendilerine gelmesinden güvende miydiler?

Atau apakah penduduk negeri-negeri itu merasa aman dari kedatangan siksaan Kami kepada mereka di waktu matahari sepenggalahan naik ketika mereka sedang bermain?

یا اس بات سے مطمئن ہیں کہ یہ کھیل کود میں مصروف رہیں اور ہمارا عذاب دن دھاڑے نازل ہوجائے

আর এই জনপদের অধিবাসীরা কি নিশ্চিন্ত হয়ে পড়েছে যে, তাদের উপর আমার আযাব দিনের বেলাতে এসে পড়বে অথচ তারা তখন থাকবে খেলা-ধুলায় মত্ত।
