وَإِذْ كَأَنَّهُۥ أَنَّهُۥ بِهِمْ مَآ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ ﴿١٧١﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And [mention] when We raised the mountain above them as if it was a dark cloud and they were certain that it would fall upon them, [and Allah said], "Take what We have given you with determination and remember what is in it that you might fear Allah."

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

کوه طور بر فراز قوم بنی‌اسرائیل

از امام صادق(ع) در ذیل این آیه نقل شده است: «هنگامی که خداوند تورات را بر بنی‌اسرائیل فرو فرستاد. آنها نپذیرفتند. به همین جهت. خداوند کوه طور سینا را بر فراز آنها بلند کرد و آنگاه موسی(ع) به آنها فرمود: اگر دستورهای تورات را نپذیرید. این کوه روی شما خواهد افتاد. سپس آنها پذیرفتند و در مقابل آن سر فرود آوردند.»!
