پس از آنکه حق [بودنِ انگیزه های رفتنت به جنگ بدر] روشن شد با تو در این حقّ [روشن و آشکار] مجادله و ستیزه می کنند [تا رأی خود را در ترک جنگ به عنوان اینکه جنگی نابرابر است، تحمیل کنند؛ چنان از شرکت در جنگ ترسیده بودند] که گویا به سوی مرگ رانده می شوند و آن را با چشم خود می بینند!!

با تو در باره حق -بعد از آنکه روشن گردید- مجادله می‌کنند. گویی که آنان را به سوی مرگ می‌رانند و ایشان [بدان‌] می‌نگرند.
