بِهِۦ عَلَىٰٓ لَعَلَّهُمْ ﴿٦١﴾

  • فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ

    And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment],

  • وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُم بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ

    And there came upon them by morning an abiding punishment.

  • بَلِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٌ

    Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness,

  • ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

    [And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient."
