مَا مِّنَ وَمَآ مَا بِى وَلَا بِكُمْ إِنْ إِلَّا مَا إِلَىَّ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا ﴿٩﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

Say, "I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner."

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

‏ یک پاسخ به بسیاری از ایرادات مشرکان

جمله‌های بسیار کوتاه و پر معنای این آیه» پاسخی به بسیاری از ایرادات مشرکان است؛ از جمله این که گاه از بعثت پیامبر(ص) تعجب می‌کردند که چگونه یک بشر ممکن است با خدا ارتباط پیدا کند. گاه می‌گفتند که چرا او غْدا می‌خورد و در کوچه و بازار راه می‌رود. گاه تقاضای معجزات عجیب و غریب داشتند و هر یک درخواستی می‌کردند. گاه انتظار داشتند که پیامبر(ص) کانونی از علم غیب باشد و همةٌ حوادث آینده را برای آنها بازگو کند و گاه نیز از این که او به توحید و یگانگی معبود دعوت می‌کند. تعجب می‌کردند. این آیه به همةٌ بهانه‌جویی‌ها به اجمال پاسخ می‌دهد و می‌فرماید: من نخستین کسی نیستم که به توحید دعوت کرده‌ام و پیش از من» پیامبران زیادی آمده‌اند که همةٌ آنها از جنس بشر بودند. لباس می‌پوشیدند و غذا می‌خوردند. هیچ یک از آنها مدعی علم غیب مطلق نبودند؛ بلکه همه می‌گفتند: ما از حوادث غیب آن قدر می‌دانیم که خدا به ما تعلیم داده است و هیچ‌یک از آنها در برابر پیشنهادهای هوس‌آلود مردم تسلیم نشدند. همگان باید بدانند پیامبر(ص) نیز بنده‌ای از بندگان خداست که علم و قدرت او نیز به آنچه خدا می‌خواهدء محدود است. علم و قدرت مطلق,» تنها از آن پروردگار است. اینها واقعیت‌هایی است که مردم باید بدانند تا به ایرادهای نابجا پایان دهند. باید توجه داشت که این آیه با یات دیگری که نشان می‌دهد پیامبر(ص) از غیب آگاهی داردء منافات ندارد؛ چرا که این آیه» علم غیب مطلق را نفی می‌کند؛ نه مطلق علم غیب را. به تعبیر دیگرء این آیه. علم غیب استقلالی را نفی می‌کند؛ ولی آّیات دیگری» از علم غیب پیامبر با تعلیم ای سخن می‌گویند.
