11

ٱلَّذِينَ لِلَّذِينَ لَوْ مَّا إِلَيْهِ وَإِذْ لَمْ بِهِۦ هَٰذَآ ﴿١١﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And those who disbelieve say of those who believe, "If it had [truly] been good, they would not have preceded us to it." And when they are not guided by it, they will say, "This is an ancient falsehood."

منطق هوسبازان مرفه در امور دین

مفسران برای این آیه چندین شأن نزول ذکر کرده‌اند و از مجموع آنها استفاده می‌شود که قشرهای فقیر و بادیه‌نشین و تهی‌دست به سرعت از اسلام استقبال کردند؛ چرا که هم منافع نامشروعی نداشتند که به خطر بیفتد و هم مغز آنها از باد غرور انباشته نبود و هم قلب‌هایی پاک‌تر از قشر مرفه عیاش و هوسباز داشتند. این استقبال گرم از ناحیة این گروه که یکی از بزرگ‌ترین نقطه‌های قوّت این آیین الهی بود از سوی مغروران مستکیر یک نقطه ضعف بزرگ شمرده شده می‌گفتند: این چه آیینی است که پیروانش انبوهی بادیه‌نشین فقیر و تهی‌دست و کنیزان و بردگان‌اند؟! اگر مکتب معقولی استء هرگز نباید افضراد سطح پایین اجتماع از آن استقبال کنند؛ اما ما که در سطح بالا قرار داریم و چشم و چراغ جامعه هستیم» عقب بمانیم. این طرز تفکر انحرافی» امروز هم رایج‌ترین طرز تفکرها در میان ثروتمندان مغرور و هوسبازان مرفه در مورد مذهب است که می‌گویند: مذهب به درد فقرا و پابرهنه‌ها می‌خورد و هر دو برای هم خوبند و ما در سطحی بالاتر قرار داریم. قرآن در این آیات به آنها پاسخ کافی داده است. > **پانوشت صفحه (منابع):** > ۱- نمونه, چ۲۱. ص ۳۱۰ ۲ پیشین» ص ۳۱۳ ۳ پیشین» ص ۳۱۷ > ٢- پیشین، ص ٣١٣ > ٣- پیشین، ص ٣١٧ > ۵+۳ > **Cited sources** (grade before any load-bearing use): Tafsīr Nemūneh, al-Kāfī.

  • وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ وَإِنَّا بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ

    But when the truth came to them, they said, "This is magic, and indeed we are, concerning it, disbelievers."

  • لَّوْلَآ إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ ظَنَّ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ خَيْرًا وَقَالُوا۟ هَٰذَآ إِفْكٌ مُّبِينٌ

    Why, when you heard it, did not the believing men and believing women think good of one another and say, "This is an obvious falsehood"?

  • وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ بِهَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَلَا بِٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ مَوْقُوفُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يَرْجِعُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ٱلْقَوْلَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أَنتُمْ لَكُنَّا مُؤْمِنِينَ

    And those who disbelieve say, "We will never believe in this Qur'an nor in that before it." But if you could see when the wrongdoers are made to stand before their Lord, refuting…

  • قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا بِٱلَّذِىٓ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ

    Said those who were arrogant, "Indeed we, in that which you have believed, are disbelievers."

  • وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ

    And we are not to be punished."
