But no one believed Moses, except [some] youths among his people, for fear of Pharaoh and his establishment that they would persecute them. And indeed, Pharaoh was haughty within the land, and indeed, he was of the transgressors

But none believed in Moses except some youths from among his people, for the fear of Pharaoh and his elite that he would persecute them. For Pharaoh was indeed a tyrant in the land, and indeed he was an unrestrained [despot].

But none trusted Moses, save some scions of his people, (and they were) in fear of Pharaoh and their chiefs, that he would persecute them. Lo! Pharaoh was verily a tyrant in the land, and lo! he verily was of the wanton.

But none believed in Moses except some children of his people, because of the fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs, lest they should persecute them; and certainly Pharaoh was mighty on the earth and one who transgressed all bounds.

So none believed in Moses, save a seed of his people, for fear of Pharaoh and their Council, that they would persecute them; and Pharaoh was high in the land, and he was one of the prodigals.

پس [در ابتدای کار] کسی به موسی ایمان نیاورد، مگر فرزندانی [انگشت شمار] از قومش آن هم با ترسی [شدید] از فرعون و اشراف و سران قوم خودشان که مبادا فرعونیان آنان را شکنجه و عذاب دهند؛ و مسلماً فرعون در سرزمین مصر برتری خواه، و [در گناه، معصیت و ستم] از اسراف کاران بود.

سرانجام، کسی به موسی ایمان نیاورد مگر فرزندانی از قوم وی، در حالی که بیم داشتند از آنکه مبادا فرعون و سران آنها ایشان را آزار رسانند، و در حقیقت، فرعون در آن سرزمین برتری‌جوی و از اسرافکاران بود.

Firavun ve erkanının kendilerine fenalık yapmasından korktuklarından, milletinin bir kısım gençleri dışında, kimse Musa'ya inanmamıştı, çünkü Firavun o yerde hakimdi. O, gerçekten aşırı gidenlerdendi.

Maka tidak ada yang beriman kepada Musa, melainkan pemuda-pemuda dari kaumnya (Musa) dalam keadaan takut bahwa Fir'aun dan pemuka-pemuka kaumnya akan menyiksa mereka. Sesungguhnya Fir'aun itu berbuat sewenang-wenang di muka bumi. Dan sesungguhnya dia termasuk orang-orang yang melampaui batas.

پھر بھی موسٰی پر ایمان نہ لائے مگر ان کی قوم کی ایک نسل اور وہ بھی فرعون اور اس کی جماعت کے خوف کے ساتھ کہ کہیں وہ کسی آزمائش میں نہ مبتلا کردے کہ فرعون بہت اونچا ہے اور وہ اسراف اور زیادتی کرنے والا بھی ہے

আর কেউ ঈমান আনল না মূসার প্রতি তাঁর কওমের কতিপয় বালক ছাড়া-ফেরাউন ও তার সর্দারদের ভয়ে যে, এরা না আবার কোন বিপদে ফেলে দেয়। ফেরাউন দেশময় কর্তꦣ2499;ত্বের শিখরে আরোহণ করেছিল। আর সে তার হাত ছেড়ে রেখেছিল।
