بَلْ فَإِذَا إِلَيْهِ مِن أَنَّهَا ﴿٦٦﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

He said, "Rather, you throw." And suddenly their ropes and staffs seemed to him from their magic that they were moving [like snakes].

ساحران فرعونی چه کردند؟

بسیاری از مفسران نوشته‌اند که ساحران» موادی همچون «جیوه» درون طناب‌ها و عصاهایشان قرار داده بودند که با تابش آفتاب» و گرم شدن آن مواد فوق‌العاده فراره حرکات گوناگون و سریعی به آنها دست می‌داد. این حرکات بی‌شک راه رفتن نبود؛ ولی با تلقین‌هایی که جادوگران به مردم کرده بودند و صحنةٌ خاصی که در آنجا به وجود آمده بودء این چنین در چشم مردم مجسم می‌شد که این موجودات جان گرفته‌اند و مشغول حرکت‌اند. به طور کلی سحر با استفاده از وسایل گوناگونی انجام می‌شود؛ گاهی با نیرنگ و چشم‌بندی» گاهی با استفاده از عوامل تلقینی» گاهی با استفاده از خواص فیزیکی و شیمیایی اجسام و گاهی با کمک گرفتن از شیاطین. البته امروزه راز بسیاری از اموری که در گذشته جادو تلقی می‌شده» کشف گردیده و طبیعتا دیگر سحر و جادو نیست؛ ولی اصل سحر حقیقت دارد و نمی‌توان منکر آن شد. سحر در اسلام حرام و از گناهان کبیره محسوب می‌شود. البته مانند بسیاری از احکام» موارد استثنا دارد؛ از جمله فرا گرفتن سحر برای باطل کردن ادعای مدعیان دروغین نبوت یا برای از بین بردن اثر آن در مورد کسانی که از آن آسیب دیده‌اند» جایز و در مواقعی واجب است.

    And [he was told], "Throw down your staff." But when he saw it writhing as if it was a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], "O Moses, approach and fear…

  • قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰٓ أَلْقُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ

    Moses said to them, "Throw whatever you will throw."

  • فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ

    And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.

  • أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ

    Woe to you, and woe!
