  • وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ ٱلْجِبَالُ

    And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been [sufficient] to do away with the mountains.

  • أَمْ حَسِبْتَ أَنَّ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْكَهْفِ وَٱلرَّقِيمِ كَانُوا۟ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِنَا عَجَبًا

    Or have you thought that the companions of the cave and the inscription were, among Our signs, a wonder?

  • كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ وَعَادٌۢ بِٱلْقَارِعَةِ

    Thamud and 'Aad denied the Striking Calamity.
