And why should you not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned while He has explained in detail to you what He has forbidden you, excepting that to which you are compelled. And indeed do many lead [others] astray through their [own] inclinations without knowledge. Indeed, your Lord - He is most knowing of the transgressors.

Why should you not eat that over which Allah’s Name has been mentioned, while He has already elaborated for you whatever He has forbidden you, excepting what you may be compelled to [eat in an emergency]? Indeed many mislead [others] by their fancies, without any knowledge. Indeed your Lord knows best the transgressors.

How should ye not eat of that over which the name of Allah hath been mentioned, when He hath explained unto you that which is forbidden unto you unless ye are compelled thereto. But lo! many are led astray by their own lusts through ignorance. Lo! thy Lord, He is Best Aware of the transgressors.

Why should ye not eat of (meats) on which Allah's name hath been pronounced, when He hath explained to you in detail what is forbidden to you - except under compulsion of necessity? But many do mislead (men) by their appetites unchecked by knowledge. Thy Lord knoweth best those who transgress.

How is it with you, that you do not eat of that over which God's Name has been mentioned, seeing that He has distinguished for you that He has forbidden you, unless you are constrained to it? But surely, many lead astray by their caprices, without any knowledge; thy Lord knows very well the transgressors.

و شما را چه شده [که به دنبال یاوه گویی مشرکان] از آنچه [چون گوشت ذبیحه ای] که نام خدا بر آن برده شده نمی خورید؟! در صورتی که آنچه را خدا بر شما حرام نموده برای شما بیان کرده است، مگر چیزی که [برای حفظ جانتان] به خوردن آن ناچار شوید؛ و قطعاً بسیاری [از بداندیشان]، دیگران را از روی جهل و نادانی با هواهای نفسانی خود گمراه می کنند؛ یقیناً پروردگارت به تجاوزکاران [از حدود حق] داناتر است.

و شما را چه شده است که از آنچه نام خدا بر آن برده شده است نمی‌خورید؟ با اینکه [خدا] آنچه را بر شما حرام کرده -جز آنچه بدان ناچار شده‌اید- برای شما به تفصیل بیان نموده است. و به راستی، بسیاری [از مردم، دیگران را] از روی نادانی، با هوسهای خود گمراه می‌کنند. آری، پروردگار تو به [حال‌] تجاوزکاران داناتر است.

Size ne oluyor ki, Allah size darda kalmanızın dışında, haram olanları genişçe anlatmışken adının üzerine anıldığı şeyden yemiyorsunuz? Doğrusu çoğunluk, heva ve heveslerine uyarak, bilmeden sapıtıyorlar. Aşırı gidenleri en iyi bilen Rabbindir.

Mengapa kamu tidak mau memakan (binatang-binatang yang halal) yang disebut nama Allah ketika menyembelihnya, padahal sesungguhnya Allah telah menjelaskan kepada kamu apa yang diharamkan-Nya atasmu, kecuali apa yang terpaksa kamu memakannya. Dan sesungguhnya kebanyakan (dari manusia) benar benar hendak menyesatkan (orang lain) dengan hawa nafsu mereka tanpa pengetahuan. Sesungguhnya Tuhanmu, Dialah yang lebih mengetahui orang-orang yang melampaui batas.

اورتمہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ تم وہ نہیں کھاتے ہو جس پر نام خدا لیا گیا ہے جب کہ اس نے جن چیزوں کو حرام کیا ہے انہیں تفصیل سے بیان کردیا ہے مگر یہ کہ تم مجبور ہوجاؤ تو اور بات ہے اور بہت سے لوگ تو اپنی خواہشات کی بنا پر لوگوں کو بغیر جانے بوجھے گمراہ کرتے ہیں .اور تمہارا پروردگار ان زیادتی کرنے والوں کو خوب جانتا ہے

কোন কারণে তোমরা এমন জন্তু থেকে ভক্ষণ করবে না, যার উপর আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারিত হয়, অথচ আল্লাহ ঐ সব জন্তুর বিশদ বিবরণ দিয়েছেন, যেগুলোকে তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করেছেন; কিন্তু সেগুলোও তোমাদের জন্যে হালাল, যখন তোমরা নিরুপায় হয়ে যাও। অনেক লোক স্বীয় ভ্রান্ত প্রবৃত্তি দ্বারা না জেনে বিপথগামী করতে থাকে। আপনার প্রতিপালক সীমাতিক্রম কারীদেরকে যথার্থই জানেন।
