And [recall, O People of the Scripture], when Allah took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], "Whatever I give you of the Scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you [must] believe in him and support him." [Allah] said, "Have you acknowledged and taken upon that My commitment?" They said, "We have acknowledged it." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."

When Allah took a compact concerning the prophets, [He said,] ‘Inasmuch as I have given you [the knowledge] of the Book and wisdom, should an apostle come to you thereafter confirming what is with you, you shall believe in him and help him.’ He said, ‘Do you pledge and accept My covenant on this condition?’ They said, ‘We pledge.’ He said, ‘Then be witnesses, and I, too, am among the witnesses along with you.’

When Allah made (His) covenant with the prophets, (He said): Behold that which I have given you of the Scripture and knowledge. And afterward there will come unto you a messenger, confirming that which ye possess. Ye shall believe in him and ye shall help him. He said: Do ye agree, and will ye take up My burden (which I lay upon you) in this (matter)? They answered: We agree. He said: Then bear ye witness. I will be a witness with you.

Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."

And when God took compact with the Prophets: 'That I have given you of Book and Wisdom; then there shall come to you a Messenger confirming what is with you -- you shall believe in him and you shall help him; do you agree?' He said. 'And do you take My load on you on that condition?' They said, 'We do agree.' God said, 'Bear witness so, and I shall be with you among the witnesses.'

و [یاد کنید] هنگامی که خدا از همه پیامبران [و امت هایشان] پیمان گرفت که هرگاه کتاب و حکمت به شما دادم، سپس [در آینده] پیامبری برای شما آمد که آنچه را [از کتاب های آسمانی] نزد شماست تصدیق کرد، قطعاً باید به او ایمان آورید و وی را یاری دهید. [آن گاه خدا] فرمود: آیا اقرار کردید و بر این [حقیقت] پیمان محکم مرا [به صورتی که به آن وفا کنید] دریافت نمودید؟ گفتند: اقرار کردیم. فرمود: پس [بر این پیمان] گواه باشید و من هم با شما از گواهانم.

و [یاد کن‌] هنگامی را که خداوند از پیامبران پیمان گرفت که هر گاه به شما کتاب و حکمتی دادم، سپس شما را فرستاده‌ای آمد که آنچه را با شماست تصدیق کرد، البته به او ایمان بیاورید و حتماً یاریش کنید. آنگاه فرمود: «آیا اقرار کردید و در این باره پیمانم را پذیرفتید؟» گفتند: «آری، اقرار کردیم.» فرمود: «پس گواه باشید و من با شما از گواهانم.»

Allah peygamberlerden ahid almıştı: "And olsun ki size Kitap, hikmet verdim; sizde olanı tasdik eden bir peygamber gelecek, ona mutlaka inanacaksınız ve ona mutlaka yardım edeceksiniz, ikrar edip bu ahdi kabul ettiniz mi?" demişti. "İkrar ettik" demişlerdi de: "Şahid olun, Ben de sizinle beraber şahidlerdenim" demişti.

Dan (ingatlah), ketika Allah mengambil perjanjian dari para nabi: "Sungguh, apa saja yang Aku berikan kepadamu berupa kitab dan hikmah kemudian datang kepadamu seorang rasul yang membenarkan apa yang ada padamu, niscaya kamu akan sungguh-sungguh beriman kepadanya dan menolongnya". Allah berfirman: "Apakah kamu mengakui dan menerima perjanjian-Ku terhadap yang demikian itu?" Mereka menjawab: "Kami mengakui". Allah berfirman: "Kalau begitu saksikanlah (hai para nabi) dan Aku menjadi saksi (pula) bersama kamu".

اور اس وقت کو یاد کرو جب خدا نے تمام انبیائ سے عہد لیا کہ ہم تم کو جو کتاب و حکمت دے رہے ہیں اس کے بعد جب وہ رسول آجائے جو تمہاری کتابوں کی تصدیق کرنے والا ہے تو تم سب اس پر ایمان لے آنا اور اس کی مدد کرنا .اور پھر پوچھا کیا تم نے ان باتوں کا اقرار کرلیا اور ہمارے عہد کو قبول کرلیا تو سب نے کہا بیشک ہم نے اقرار کرلیا- ارشاد ہوا کہ اب تم سب گواہ بھی رہنا اور میں بھی تمہارے ساتھ گواہوں میں ہوں

আর আল্লাহ যখন নবীগনের কাছ থেকে অস্বীকার গ্রহন করলেন যে, আমি যা কিছু তোমাদের দান করেছি কিতাব ও জ্ঞান এবং অতঃপর তোমাদের নিকট কোন রসূল আসেন তোমাদের কিতাবকে সত্য বলে দেয়ার জন্য, তখন সে রসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আনবে এবং তার সাহায্য করবে। তিনি বললেন, ‘তোমার কি অঙ্গীকার করছো এবং এই শর্তে আমার ওয়াদা গ্রহণ করে নিয়েছ? তারা বললো, ‘আমরা অঙ্গীকার করেছি’। তিনি বললেন, তাহলে এবার সাক্ষী থাক। আর আমিও তোমাদের সাথে সাক্ষী রইলাম।
