ٱلَّذِينَ ﴿١٤١﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And that Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers.

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

گردش روزگار؛ خالص کنندةٌ موْمنان

تمحیص - که فعل «یْمَحّص» از آن گرفته شده -به معنای خالص کردن چیزی از ناخالصی‌هایی است که از بیرون به آن وارد شده است. خداوند در این آّیات روشن می‌کند که یکی از نتایج گردش روزگار - و این که گاهی به سود انسان و گاهی به زیان اوست - این است که موّمنان از آلودگی‌ها و ناخالصی‌ها پاک می‌شوند. در روایات بسیاری نیز آمده که سختی‌ها و مشکلات روزگار باعث پاک شدن موّمن از گناهان و آلودگی‌های گذشته می‌شود. در روایتی از امام علی(ع) می‌خوانیم: «بنده‌ای از شیعیان, به کاری که ما او را از آن نهی کرده‌ایم, نزدیک نمی‌شود مگر این‌که قبل از مرگش به بلایی گرفتار شود تا گناهانش پاک گردد.» امام سپس برخی از گرفتاری‌ها مانند گرفتاری‌های مالیء جانی و.. را ذکر می‌کند و می‌فرماید: «این گرفتاری‌ها بدان جهت است که هنگام ملاقات با خدا دیگر هیچ گناهی نداشته باشد و ممکن است گناهی از موْمنی باقی مانده باشد که در آن صورت جان دادن او سخت خواهد شد.»
