وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ نَسُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فَأَنسَىٰهُمْ أَنفُسَهُمْ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ
And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient.
Saheeh International
The verse for a given day is derived from the date itself, so it is the same for everyone and can be checked. It carries no claim of being especially apt for that day — it is a way of meeting a verse you did not choose.
