Have you not considered your Lord - how He extends the shadow, and if He willed, He could have made it stationary? Then We made the sun for it an indication.

Have you not regarded how your Lord spreads the twilight? (Had He wished He would have made it stand still.) Then We made the sun a beacon for it.

Hast thou not seen how thy Lord hath spread the shade - And if He willed He could have made it still - then We have made the sun its pilot;

Hast thou not turned thy vision to thy Lord?- How He doth prolong the shadow! If He willed, He could make it stationary! then do We make the sun its guide;

Hast thou not regarded thy Lord, how He has stretched out the shadow? Had He willed, He would have made it still. Then We appointed the sun, to be a guide to it;

آیا به [قدرت و حکمت] پروردگارت ننگریستی که چگونه سایه را امتداد داد و گستراند؟ و اگر می خواست آن را ساکن و ثابت می کرد، آن گاه خورشید را برای [شناختن] آن سایه، راهنما [ی انسان ها] قرار دادیم.

آیا ندیده‌ای که پروردگارت چگونه سایه را گسترده است؟ و اگر می‌خواست، آن را ساکن قرار می‌داد، آنگاه خورشید را بر آن دلیل گردانیدیم.

Rabbinin gölgeyi nasıl uzattığını görmez misin? İsteseydi onu durdururdu. Sonra Biz güneşi, ona delil kılıp yavaş yavaş kendimize çekmişizdir.

کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا کہ آپ کے پروردگار نے کس طرح سایہ کو پھیلا دیا ہے اور وہ چاہتا تو ایک ہی جگہ ساکن بنا دیتا پھر ہم نے آفتاب کو اس کی دلیل بنادیا ہے

তুমি কি তোমার পালনকর্তাকে দেখ না, তিনি কিভাবে ছায়াকে বিলম্বিত করেন? তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে একে স্থির রাখতে পারতেন। এরপর আমি সূর্যকে করেছি এর নির্দেশক।
