He almost would have misled us from our gods had we not been steadfast in [worship of] them." But they are going to know, when they see the punishment, who is farthest astray in [his] way.

Indeed he was about to lead us astray from our gods, had we not stood firm by them.’ Soon they will know, when they sight the punishment, who is further astray from the [right] way.

He would have led us far away from our gods if we had not been staunch to them. They will know, when they behold the doom, who is more astray as to the road.

"He indeed would well-nigh have misled us from our gods, had it not been that we were constant to them!" - Soon will they know, when they see the Penalty, who it is that is most misled in Path!

Wellnigh he had led us astray from our gods, but that we kept steadfast to them.' Assuredly they shall know, when they see the chastisement, who is further astray from the way.

اگر ما بر پرستش بتهایمان ایستادگی نمی کردیم، نزدیک بود ما را از پرستش آنها منحرف کند. سپس وقتی که عذاب را می بینند خواهند دانست که چه کسی گمراه تر است.

چیزی نمانده بود که ما را از خدایانمان -اگر بر آن ایستادگی نمی‌کردیم- منحرف کند. «و هنگامی که عذاب را می‌بینند به زودی خواهند دانست چه کسی گمراه‌تر است.

"Tanrılarımız üzerinde direnmeseydik, doğrusu neredeyse bizi onlardan uzaklaştıracaktı" derler. Azabı gördükleri zaman, kimin yolunun sapık olduğunu bileceklerdir.

Sesungguhnya hampirlah ia menyesatkan kita dari sembahan-sembahan kita, seandainya kita tidak sabar(menyembah)nya" dan mereka kelak akan mengetahui di saat mereka melihat azab, siapa yang paling sesat jalannya.

قریب تھا کہ یہ ہمیں ہمارے خداؤں سے منحرف کردے اگر ہم لوگ ان خداؤں پر صبر نہ کرلیتے اور عنقریب ان لوگوں کو معلوم ہوجائے گا جب یہ عذاب کو دیکھیں گے کہ زیادہ بہکاہوا کون ہے

সে তো আমাদেরকে আমাদের উপাস্যগণের কাছ থেকে সরিয়েই দিত, যদি আমরা তাদেরকে আঁকড়ে ধরে না থাকতাম। তারা যখন শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, তখন জানতে পারবে কে অধিক পথভ্রষ্ট।
