And you did not kill them, but it was Allah who killed them. And you threw not, [O Muhammad], when you threw, but it was Allah who threw that He might test the believers with a good test. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

You did not kill them; rather, it was Allah who killed them; and you did not throw when you threw, rather, it was Allah who threw, that He might test the faithful with a good test from Himself. Indeed Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing.

Ye (Muslims) slew them not, but Allah slew them. And thou (Muhammad) threwest not when thou didst throw, but Allah threw, that He might test the believers by a fair test from Him. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower.

It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah: when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah's: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).

You did not slay them, but God slew them; and when thou threwest, it was not thyself that threw, but God threw, and that He might confer on the believers a fair benefit; surely God is All-hearing, All-knowing.

[به کشتن دشمنان بر خود مبالید] شما آنان را نکشتید، بلکه خدا آنان را کشت. [ای پیامبر!] هنگامی که به سوی دشمنان تیر پرتاب کردی، تو پرتاب نکردی، بلکه خدا پرتاب کرد [تا آنان را هلاک کند] و مؤمنان را از سوی خود به آزمایشی نیکو بیازماید؛ زیرا خدا شنوا و داناست.

و شما آنان را نکشتید، بلکه خدا آنان را کُشت. و چون [ریگ به سوی آنان‌] افکندی، تو نیفکندی، بلکه خدا افکند. [آری، خدا چنین کرد تا کافران را مغلوب کند] و بدین وسیله مؤمنان را به آزمایشی نیکو، بیازماید. قطعاً خدا شنوای داناست.

Onları siz öldürmediniz fakat Allah öldürdü. Attığın zaman da sen atmamıştın, fakat Allah atmıştı. Allah bunu, inananları güzel bir imtihana tabi tutmak için yapmıştı. Doğrusu O işitir ve bilir.

Maka (yang sebenarnya) bukan kamu yang membunuh mereka, akan tetapi Allahlah yang membunuh mereka, dan bukan kamu yang melempar ketika kamu melempar, tetapi Allah-lah yang melempar. (Allah berbuat demikian untuk membinasakan mereka) dan untuk memberi kemenangan kepada orang-orang mukmin, dengan kemenangan yang baik. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui.

پس تم لوگوں نے ان کفاّر کو قتل نہیں کیا بلکہ خدا نے قتل کیا ہے اور پیغمبرآپ نے سنگریزے نہیں پھینکے ہیں بلکہ خدا نے پھینکے ہیں تاکہ صاحبان هایمان پر خوب اچھی طرح احسان کردے کہ وہ سب کی سننے والا اور سب کا حال جاننے والا ہے

সুতরাং তোমরা তাদেরকে হত্যা করনি, বরং আল্লাহই তাদেরকে হত্যা করেছেন। আর তুমি মাটির মুষ্ঠি নিক্ষেপ করনি, যখন তা নিক্ষেপ করেছিলে, বরং তা নিক্ষেপ করেছিলেন আল্লাহ স্বয়ং যেন ঈমানদারদের প্রতি এহসান করতে পারেন যথার্থভাবে। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ শ্রবণকারী; পরিজ্ঞাত।
