عَلَىٰ أَنَّهُمْ لَا ﴿٩٥﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return

Tafsīr

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

با زگشت به دنیا ممنوع !

این آیه از کسانی سخن می‌گوید که بعد از مشاهدةٌ عذاب الهی یا بعد از نابودی و رفتن به جهان برزخ» پرده‌های غرور و غفلت از برایر دیدگانشان کنار می‌رود و آرزو می‌کنند که ای کاش برای جبران این همه گناه» به دنیا باز می‌گشتند؛ ولی قرآن با صراحت می‌گوید: بازگشت آنها به کلی حرام و ممنوع است و راهی برای جبران گناهانشان باقی نمانده است. این آیه شبیه یه ۹۹ سورةٌ موّمنون است که می‌فرماید: «(آنها همچنان در راه غلط خود ادامه می‌دهند) تا زمانی که مرگ یکی از آنان فرا رسدء می‌گوید: «پروردگار من, مرا باز گردان؛ شاید در (جبران) آنچه ترک کردم (و کوتاهی نمودم)» عمل صالحی انجام دهم.» (ولی به او می‌گویند:) چنین نیست.»

    And when We intend to destroy a city, We command its affluent but they defiantly disobey therein; so the word comes into effect upon it, and We destroy it with [complete]…

  • مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ

    No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter.

  • وَتِلْكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا۟ وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِم مَّوْعِدًا

    And those cities - We destroyed them when they wronged, and We made for their destruction an appointed time.

  • فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ

    And they will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return.

  • تُدَمِّرُ كُلَّ شَىْءٍۭ بِأَمْرِ رَبِّهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ لَا يُرَىٰٓ إِلَّا مَسَٰكِنُهُمْ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

    Destroying everything by command of its Lord. And they became so that nothing was seen [of them] except their dwellings. Thus do We recompense the criminal people.
