  • قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ

    They said, "Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you,

  • قَالُوٓا۟ ءَأَنتَ فَعَلْتَ هَٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَا يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ

    They said, "Have you done this to our gods, O Abraham?"

  • قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

    [Moses] said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers."
